Performance analysis and effectiveness assessment

Performance analysis:

Performance analysis refers to the process of evaluating and analysing the results and current performance of a particular operation or activity. This work includes measurements and estimates of key indicators that measure activity performance such as efficiency, quality and productivity. Comparisons are made between current performance and targets to identify gaps and possible improvements. Performance analysis is used to identify successes and weaknesses and guide improvement efforts.

Effectiveness assessment:

Evaluating effectiveness is related to assessing the extent to which activities, programmed and systems achieve their objectives. This evaluation includes the actual utilization of the resources and efforts invested in those activities. Evaluation requires in-depth analysis of relevant data and information, and measurement of achievement of objectives and desired results.
